Our philosophy. Loving hands, loving hearts.
We at St. Joseph Nursing & Rehabilitation Center believe that residents coming into our care, regardless of race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, or payment source, should be extended the love and respect we would wish to extend to members of our own families.
We believe our nursing care is truly a personal and caring relationship characterized by a unique attention to the “little things” that are so meaningful to each individual resident. We believe that the warmth and concern conveyed to residents through soothing, an assisting hand, is the core of our nursing care. We believe that giving nursing care of the quality and depth with which we aim necessitates expending ourselves, sharing our talents and our energies unselfishly.
We believe that this quality of care can only be achieved through a spiritual, cooperative effort, acceptance of one another, and a spirit of giving and grateful receiving.
It’s all about Quality of Life.
Long-term Nursing Care—Your Home—Long-term care often means that some individuals will spend months or years with us. Our home becomes their home, and we become their second family. That kind of relationship is a privilege and a trust like no other. We treat each resident with kindness and courtesy, mindful of their dignity as human beings and of our responsibility for their health and happiness.
Short-term Rehab—Our short-term rehab program offers an alternative for those well enough to leave an acute care hospital, but not yet well enough to return home. Ultimately, our goal is to assist residents in improving their quality of life and regaining an active, independent lifestyle.
Our services are team coordinated among our dedicated nursing, rehabilitation, medical, and discharge planning professionals. In addition, our individualized care plans and one-on-one treatments focus on measurable outcomes. This helps each patient adapt and recover in the shortest period possible.
We offer physical therapy and occupational therapy through Synertx, a leading rehabilitation services firm. Through collaborative efforts, we work together to design a personalized program that will help you regain your strength and mobility quickly.
Hospice—We provide palliative and end-of-life hospice care through local hospice providers. Our goal is to make this time as comfortable and peaceful as possible because a terminal illness is difficult and often overwhelming. Our nurses help residents and their families face these challenging days with dignity and compassion. Our team approach addresses the holistic needs and wishes of the patient, from medical and pain management to household and nutritional assistance to emotional and spiritual support.
An Expert & Caring Team—Our staff of nurses, medical assistants, and therapists are all appropriately licensed and specially trained to serve residents in their homes. They also have the dedication and reliability needed to provide healthcare services with the high standard of quality and commitment you and your family deserve.
“You are truely exemplary caregivers, and we feel very proud to have opportunities to coordinate care with you.”
